Dog Food & Cat Food Made the Way you would (if you had the time!)
My pets are incredibly important to me. First, the cats and the dogs are members of our family. When they’re happy, we’re happy and when they hurt, we hurt. So keeping them happy and healthy is just as important as keeping the two-legged members of the family happy and healthy. Secondly, our dogs are very valuable parts of our business that we have invested a tremendous amount of time, effort, training, and money into. Keeping them in tip top shape for competition, work, and breeding is paramount. I’m careful what I feed to my 4 legged kids and try to watch their diets as closely as I watch ours. I wish I could spend as much time planning and cooking their food as I do ours but there are so many hours in the day. The luxury of giving them oven roasted dog food or slow cooked cat food is not an option I have time to do myself, so I opt for feeding a manufactured food but I do research the ingredients, make note of how and where it is made, and ask my vet for input into what is good choice for the “fur kids”.
I carefully research the dog food & cat food I use – you should too!
When I looked into Hill’s® Ideal Balance™ Crafted™, there was a number of things that I really liked. The fact that it is made the way you would make it yourself, in Artisan Crafted small batches, just like it is cooked at home was a plus for me. I have seen the recalls announced on the evening news of pet foods manufactured in foreign countries poisoning American pets. The fact that Hill’s® Ideal Balance™ Crafted™ is made here in the United States, using quality proteins and ancient grains, makes me confident I’m giving my pets the best diet I can.
Malibu’s upcoming pregnancy makes her dog food choice very important!
Malibu is enjoying these Dog Treats that came in the sample box from Hill’s. I’ll be breeding her next month to the 2014 German Grand Champion that has just been imported to this country. Her litter of pups will be incredibly valuable (along with being absolutely adorable) and good nutrition is a very important part of insuring a healthy pregnancy and a healthy litter of pups. With a breeding of this importance, I have to be responsible in every choice I make regarding Malibu and her babies health so I’ll be feeding Hill’s® Ideal Balance™ Crafted™. Hill’s® has a great dog food comparison page on the website where I could compare the food I had been feeding to the Hill’s® Ideal Balance™ Crafted™ food I have started feeding for the least two months. It showed me that I had made a good choice for Malibu. Check it out and see how your current pet food compares to Hill’s® Ideal Balance™ Crafted™.

Be sure to follow Hill’s® on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest to keep up with the latest information on their high quality cat and dog food.

Attention to detail with all natural products makes for GREAT Dog & Cat food.
It certainly does and I strive to make sure my two GSD girls have the healthiest options I can provide.
I learned their pet food is made in small batches at a time.
The fact that they make it the way I would like to if I had the time – as Martha would say, “it’s a good thing.”
