I’ve been surfing the web looking for some ideas of creative things to do with old china tea cups. I have about 40 of them that were my grandmother’s collection. They were the hot thing to collect back in the 1950’s and every Christmas or birthday or Mother’s Day, when we couldn’t come up with any other ideas, we would give Nana a tea cup. Teacups just don’t fit into my lifestyle here in the North Woods. I am more of a mug person! A hearty beverage in a solid vessel fits Bill and I more than delicate, dainty bone china teacups. I came across some really clever ideas that people have come up with to do with them that I want to share with you.
I really liked this idea from stylemepretty.com – a windchime!
I found this lighting fixture on Pinterest. It’s interesting although I think that smaller lightbulbs would be better.
This lighting treatment is more delicate and better suited to the tea cups.
