Living, Cooking, Gardening, Crafting in Maine

It’s a Wicked Good Wednesday here in Maine!

June 5, 2013 by Sheryl Thompson 11 Comments

Time for Wicked Good Wednesday!

Last week we had some  “wicked good” posts linked up.  I choose the favorites by categorizing the posts into 5 groups – Recipes, DIY, Crafts, Gardening, and Inspiration.  After I separate them into the 5 groups I take note of the “likes” and then the “click throughs” to determine the most popular post in each category for the week.  That’s how I determine the features and so that is why it so important to “like” posts and to click though and visit the sites that interest you!

For recipes this week, the hands down favorite was Salted Caramel Cupcakes from Munchy Journal.  Salted caramels in a cupcake….downright sinful in my book! I can’t wait to try this one!

In the DIY category, the favorite was How to make A Spice Rack from Life in Ryans’ blog.  Avery clever and practical solution to keeping your herbs and spices handy and organized.

For crafts, there was  quite a few great entries but D’Arc Creations “Bracelet Tutorial” seemed to a lot of people interested.  I love the beads she used.  They remind me of the ocean off the Maine Coast on a sunny day.

I love to garden so the posts on that subject are always of interest to me.  There was a lot of interest in the “Plants To Grow in Full Sun” by Mary from the Back To Basics Blog.

For inspiration, everyone seemed to really like “Lets Stop Comparing Ourselves To Others” from Mom’s The Word.

So those were the most popular links from last weeks party, but now it’s time to build a new rond up of Wicked Good posts from all over the web.

Remember the rules!

1. Only family friendly posts – no adult content, posts with offensive language, please!

2. No Etsy shops, Ebay auctions, give-aways,  blatant selling & marketing, or other Linky Parties.  We WANT informative posts featuring recipes, crafts, DIY, parenting tips, kids activities, and family fun.  Sponsored posts are fine if they contain information that benefits the reader with a creative or learning experience.

3. Please visit other links and leave a comment.  Share the “Linky Love”! And be sure to “like” your favorite post!

It’s Time To Party!

Wow,thank you for featuring my post about comparing ourselves to others! The words and graphics are mine, but the picture isn’t. Here’s the code for the picture if you wouldn’t mind putting it underneath the picture: Image courtesy of Ambro at FreeDigitalPhotos.net

Thanks and thanks for hosting today!

If I were a chicken, that would sound so scrumptious. 🙂

Thanks so much for the link party, really appreciate it. Love that chalk board spice rack idea. I’ve been looking for a good spice rack option.

    Happy Blogging!

Thanks for hosting this hop. I added two this week: one about the class my hubby and I attended this past weekend about beekeeping (with wine and honey tasting – yum) and the other about the squash I am growing in my backyard which apparently has mosaic virus 🙁 . See you next week! Vickie
